The post Friday Magic Spells and Rituals appeared first on Coexist - The Alternative Path.
]]>If you are ready to attract romance or strengthen relationships, then Friday is an ideal time to begin. Therefore, use it to enhance connections, promote self-love, and invite peace.
The name “Friday” comes from the Old English Frīgedæg, originally named after Frigg, the Norse goddess of love and marriage. Interestingly, in Romance languages, Friday reflects Venus’ influence—so we see Vendredi in French, Viernes in Spanish, and Venerdì in Italian, all meaning “Venus’s Day.”
If you haven’t, read my article on planetary days and hours first. That will give you a foundation on the energies of different days and hours and how they work in magic.
Find everything on our online metaphysical store or in our brick-and-mortar metaphysical shop, so do not stress about supplies. This is part five of a seven-day spell series, and Friday is a great day to invite enchantment and joy. I can tell you Friday is my harmony-and-highlighter day.
Follow us for more on Instagram, Facebook (Meta) or TikTok.
Magic on Friday is best suited for love, harmony, friendship, beauty, and creativity. Therefore, use this day to mend relationships, write love spells, or perform self-care rituals that uplift and recharge your spirit.
Since Friday relates to pleasure and grace, it is a perfect day to embrace your aesthetic side. Thus, wear something that makes you feel beautiful and cast spells for peace or inspiration.
For magic, always check for void-of-course phases of the moon first. Otherwise, her energy simply is not available to you during those times. Moreover, there are plenty of good online calculators for this, so find one and save it to your favorites.
Because emotional balance supports magic, use Friday to soften your heart and ease inner tension. Additionally, since Venus rules beauty and harmony, let her inspire your spell-work.
Since Thursday-night dreams tend to take on a romantic or nostalgic tone, I have made Friday journaling essential. In fact, I write it all down, yes, even the part where I fell in love with a singing loaf of bread. Clearly, that must mean something… or I need to rethink my carbs. Interestingly, last Thursday Shemar Moore handed me a gift of tickets to amusement parks – what?
Therefore, start writing immediately, because poetic dreams fade fast. Additionally, whisper the images aloud as you grab your pen. Even if you did not dream, write anyway! Instead, reflect on what brings you joy.
I always check in with how I am feeling, because if my dream was basically a rom-com set in Atlantis, I want to harness that vibe. Consequently, writing it out helps me channel it. Nevertheless, it is still self-care, even if it sounds like a mermaid memoir.
Thus, I keep a notebook by the bed, ready for anything sweet, surreal, or just plain odd. Accordingly, I skip grammar. “Blushing stars and perfume clouds”? Absolutely. Logged. Afterward, we will decode it later.

Journaling and tea? Clearly, a match made by Venus. Therefore, brew up some rose tea to encourage love, healing, and emotional openness. Additionally, rose supports heart chakra work and invites sweetness into your day. Furthermore, it is a great way to kickstart your Friday magic spells.
Another fabulous Friday tea is hibiscus. Not only is hibiscus tea tart and fruity, but it is also deeply connected to attraction and joy. Moreover, it energizes the heart and supports creativity. For an extra sparkle, add honey or mint.
As for magical perks? Naturally, expect the usual charm, romance, self-love, inspiration, and a beauty boost. Thus, it is perfect for love spells, glamour magic, or healing work around the heart.
Wondering what to journal about? Then try exploring what you love—about yourself, others, or the world. In any case, write it down. Finally, keep it short.
Shuffle your deck. Pull three cards.
What do I need to know? (first card) Why do I need to know it? (second card) What should I do about it? (third card)
A little tarot each day builds your intuition. Furthermore, it gives you a soft, steady rhythm for the day.
For Friday’s extra glow, keep rose quartz or emerald near your cards. However, I like to shuffle with rhodonite in hand. Then set it beside your layout. It could even help you decide your Friday magic spells.
Rhodonite supports love, forgiveness, and emotional healing. It’s said to mend broken hearts and open space for joy. Moreover, it creates balance between passion and calm. Basically, it is your therapist in crystal form.
Try pairing it with pink opal or green aventurine. Add clear quartz if you want to boost the emotional clarity.
Book an online video reading or in-person tarot reading with one of us if you need.
Friday Prayers – Venus, Freya or AphroditeYou are welcome to pray or invoke any deity you wish. Remember Friday is Venus’s day, it is also sacred to goddesses of love and beauty. Friday is “my” day for all things heart-based.
Since Friday’s energy is about harmony, attraction, and self-worth, light a pink or green candle and consider one or all of these three prayers to Venus. You could easily make these to Freya or Aphrodite too.
Keep in mind, the best magic starts with love. Therefore, begin from a heart that is open.
O radiant Venus, goddess of love and charm, let your grace guide my path today. Help me see beauty in all things. Bless my words with kindness, my thoughts with joy, and my heart with peace.
O lovely Venus, ruler of passion and peace, draw goodness to me. Let me give love freely and receive it with grace. Help me nurture the bonds I treasure. May your sweetness flow through all I do.
O fierce Venus, protector of the heart, help me claim my worth. Let me shine with your confidence. May I walk in beauty, speak with purpose, and act from love. Be with me as I bloom.
The best spells to cast on a Friday involve attraction, healing, art, or love. Therefore, anoint a candle to draw in your soulmate or speak a glamour spell into your morning mirror. Venus loves beauty and intention.
Try spells to mend friendships, refresh your confidence, or draw peace into your home. This is the day to sparkle and spell-cast loving intentions.
First, rose petals are a Friday essential. Rose draws love, soothes grief, and lifts vibrations. Use it in bath spells or sachets.
Lavender promotes peace and healing. Burn it, brew it, or bundle it under your pillow.
Jasmine supports psychic dreams and passionate love. Add it to love spells or wear the oil.
Mint sharpens focus while sweetening communication. Sip it or use it in charm bags.
Keep in mind, these herbs all have many other properties, you might want to add to the enchantment. Look some up!
Rose quartz is the queen of self-love. It invites compassion, beauty, and healing energy. Place it on your altar or wear it.
Rhodonite, as mentioned, mends emotions and builds emotional strength.
Emerald attracts love, success, and loyalty. It is known as the stone of Venus.
Pink tourmaline supports heart healing and self-worth. It is both gentle and strong.
Friday magic spells are all about soft radiance. Think blush pink, shimmering gold, and fresh green. Wear something that feels loving and graceful.
When you chant or cast, use pink or green candles. Choose tones that match Venus’s delicate yet potent energy.
I promise as I continue to work on this blog I will circle back with a lot of how-to on spells. For Friday, open your heart with a love invocation. It is a perfect day to write self-love affirmations or cast charm bag spells.
Try spells for reconciliation, enhancing beauty, or expressing your creativity. This is the day to let your magic bloom.
Need a romance refresh? Try a honey love candle spell. Use a red or pink candle, rose petals, and your written wish. Dress the candle with honey and rose oil, then burn it over a mirror. Keep the wax in a charm bag.
Friday is for Soothing and Connecting
Perfect day for emotional healing. Write your forgiveness intention on paper and place it under rose quartz. Light a green candle and speak your release. Let peace and connection flow in.
Start with tea and journaling. Brew your Venus tea and write a few lines. Note a dream, a loving thought, a creative spark, or something you appreciate. No more than 3 minutes.
Next, read 3 to 5 pages from a magical book. Keep it sweet and reflective: 3 to 5 minutes.
Pull a three-card tarot spread. Keep it heart-centered: 5 minutes.
Say a short prayer to Venus or a love goddess. Light a candle or speak aloud: 2 minutes max.
Speak gratitude while fixing your hair or tying your shoes. Let it flow naturally: No lost time at all.
Choose a self-love spell or emotional healing ritual. Prep your tools the night before. Check for void-of-course times.
Do the honey candle spell or rose quartz release: 3 minutes.
Take 2 minutes to lift your energy. Rub hands together, then place them at your heart. Inhale light. Exhale love.
Finish by blessing yourself. Touch your forehead, then your chest. Rub your wrists. Stand tall, breathe deep, and glow.

Monday magic spells and rituals. If you’re going to start aligning your magic with the days of the week, start with Monday. Why? Because Monday is moody, emotional, intuitive and basically perfect. Also, if you haven’t already, go read my article on planetary days and hours first. It makes all of this make sense.
Find everything on our online metaphysical store or in our brick-and-mortar metaphysical shop, so don’t stress about supplies. This is part one of a seven-day spell series, so buckle up. Monday Magic Spells are here to stir the cauldron.
Because Monday is ruled by the Moon, everything gets a little dramatic. Emotions? Check. Intuition? Check. Feelings you thought you buried last year? Yeah, those too. Accordingly, Monday is ideal for any spell that touches your inner world or psychic radar.
Follow us for more on Instagram, Facebook (Meta) or TikTok.
The Moon changes faster than any other planet. It rules one-seventh of your life, which is intense. Because it governs tides and emotions, it makes Monday a personal therapy session with extra incense. Also, spells you cast today tend to go deep.
Do not forget to check for “void of course” phases if you are casting any spell. Meditation and shadow work are fine.
So yes, you might cry before coffee. However, that doesn’t mean skip your spell—it means you’re exactly where you need to be. Pay attention. Those dreams, gut feelings, and weird mood swings? That’s the Moon texting you.
Accordingly, Monday spells should center emotional healing, psychic clarity, and shadow work. It’s not fast magic. Instead, it’s soul magic.
Because Sunday dreams bleed into Monday, journaling is non-negotiable. Write everything. Even the weird stuff. Also, ask yourself what those symbols meant. A goat in your kitchen might mean more than you think.
Additionally, check in with how you feel. If your dream was heavy, that energy might follow you all day. Journaling helps you sort it out. It’s basically self-care with a pen. I keep a journal and pen handy by the bed and anything funky, colorful or creepy I jot it down. I don’t even use full sentences, just enough so that I remember; “goat in the kitchen”. Yeah, I saw that.
Make chamomile tea. Add a pinch of mugwort if you wish, because it draws energy. A tea ball works well here. For your Monday magic spell with tea, stir clockwise and whisper your intentions like a caffeinated witch. Also, hold your mug. Breathe.
As you sip, think about what you’re healing or revealing. Because even your tea deserves a purpose. Want more dream juice? Try blue lotus Monday night. But don’t blame me if your dreams get weird.
Make up your mind to have seven different teas, one for each day of the week. Get to know those herbs and their magical properties. The bulk chamomile on our site is German Chamomile, which originated in Egypt. Corresponds with water, the sun and masculine energies. Emotional and powerful. Magical uses include calming and sleep infusions (tea) and burned as incense for the same purpose. Uses in spells to attract money, and also to combat curses and harmful spells.
Enchant it, whisper to it, to bless you with these properties.
Shuffle your deck. Pull three cards. One for “What do I need to feel?” – middle card. The next for “What is hidden?” – left card. The last for “What can I release?” – right card.
Also, place a moonstone, labradorite or amethyst next to your cards if you want extra intuitive juice. This spread sets the tone for your whole week. Accordingly, trust it.
This is a great tarot spread to start any morning off, but I will include other simple spreads for other days of the week. You can stick with this one if you like. It depends on preference and how much morning time you have.
Besides, when you do a little tarot every morning, your skills improve over time. Also, you build trust and confidence with your deck and abilities.
Book an online video reading or in-person tarot reading with one of us if you need.
Simple Hecate PrayerI love asking for guidance and blessings before doing anything magical, Monday magic spells included. Here’s a simple prayer to Hecate to get you going. You can choose any goddess associated with Monday or the moon and craft your own Monday prayer.
Light a white candle. Say it like you mean it:
“Hecate of the Moon, keeper of keys and shadow, Guide my spirit through the tides of emotion. Open the gate of intuition and shield my steps. With your silver light, I find my path.”
Then shut up and listen. She answers. Trust her guidance. Watch and listen throughout the day, the answer comes.
Not everything, at least not as well. Save your get-rich-quick magic for Thursday. Instead, Monday Magic Spells thrive on emotional depth, subtle power, and slow-burning results.
Work on healing a relationship. Call in a soulmate. Rebuild your emotional boundaries. You know, the deep stuff you avoid. Also, dreamwork, fertility, intuition, protection, and ancestral veneration thrive on Mondays.
If you’re tired, good. So is the Moon half the time. Accordingly, lean in.
Because you’re not lighting a bundle of random plants, use herbs that match lunar energy. Mugwort is a must—it boosts dreams and divination. Chamomile calms your soul and preps your nervous system.
Lotus and watercress help with meditation and flow. Seaweed and evening primrose? Fertility, baby. Yarrow? Psychic shield. Also, burn jasmine or poppy if you want incense that actually works with the Moon.
Don’t forget mushrooms are lunar. Therefore, respect the fungi.
Monday magic spells can be amplified with crystals. Moonstone equals intuition. Period. Also, use selenite for cleansing and clarity. Pearl helps with emotional honesty. Wear it when you’re trying not to text your ex.
Quartz boosts everything, but don’t wear it with moonstone. Too much energy equals emotional meltdowns. Labradorite protects your aura while you get your psychic groove on.
Accordingly, choose wisely. Crystals amplify everything—including your mess.
Create a sachet of crystals, one for each day of the week so they are handy for your morning rituals.
Because the Moon changes, so should your color choices. New Moon? White. Full Moon? Red or green. Waning Moon? Black. Always appropriate. Additionally, add silver when in doubt.
Also, wear a touch of it. Burn it. Wrap it around your candles or choose these color candles. Magic works better when it looks good. After all, you’re casting a spell, not going to jury duty.
Monday magic spells should include making moon water. Check for moon phase first. Put a glass jar of clean water, filtered if you are going to drink it, under the moonlight. Add safe crystals like selenite or labradorite. Also, don’t toss in random rocks. That’s how curses happen.
You are not limited to making moon water just on Mondays, but it’s a great day to do it. Prepare it in the morning, collect it the following day.
Label your jar with the Moon phase. Use this water to anoint candles, sprinkle altars, or bathe your cranky aura. Therefore, consider it magical hydration.
Stuck in your feels? Draw a circle around them, and then light one white and one black candle. Mix mugwort and yarrow, think of drawing the necessary energy to push away what you feel stuck in.
Write down simply how you feel stuck, also, say out loud what you’re tired of. Crumple and place in cauldron, place herbs on top. Watch the flames. Let the tension burn out. When it’s done, move on. Accordingly, don’t linger. Let the candles burn, snuff them out if you must leave them unattended, you can finish them later. I use chime or birthday candles because they are quicker.
Pour salt water into a bowl. Add jasmine oil. Light a white or black candle, place atop a mirror. Touch your forehead, heart, and belly with the water.
Say, “I release what does not serve. I return to center.”
Also, dump the water outside. You don’t need to keep your emotional sludge in the sink. Therefore, let it go for good.
Love spells on Mondays are better off at reinforcing love or healing it.
Write your name and your person’s name on paper. Dab it with moon water. Place a pearl or moonstone nearby.
Also, light a white candle. Say something real:
“As the Moon waxes and wanes, so may our love grow and renew.”
Leave it on your altar for one moon cycle. And maybe talk to them too. Because communication still matters.
Journal with tea. Make tea and write, even if it’s just a little, whatever you can remember from a dream. Write about what you recently learned or want to, or you want to let go of or embrace. Don’t write a novel, or even a full page, just a day, date and a few sentences. 3 minutes tops
Read 3-5 pages from a magical book. 3-5 minutes tops.
Three-card tarot spread. 5 minutes tops.
A simple prayer to Hecate or other lunar goddess. 2 minutes tops.
Express gratitude for ______. A huge part of my morning, I do this while I’m getting ready. I just say it out load. No time at all!
Perform the cleansing ritual above or Florida Water ritual (below). Choose one spell below. Prepare things the night before, check for void of course.
2 minutes tops! Refresh the energy (hold some Florida Water at the sternum between your hands), then chase the hands rubbing together clockwise to bring power to the hands. Now hands above the head, envision a big ball of white light you are holding over your head. Direct it with your hands, pull it down through the body, through the legs and sink it into the floor or ground. Feel it brushing off or snapping off what is harmful or unhelpful, negative energies that don’t belong.
Now anoint for blessings and luck. Dominant hand first, rub some remaining Florida Water on the forehead. Switch hands, now base of skull. Switch hands, rub the inside of your wrist, switch hands, rub the other wrist. Stand up straight, take a deep breath, exhale. Blessings!

]]>The post Planetary Days and Hours for Witchcraft appeared first on Coexist - The Alternative Path.
]]>
Planetary days and hours are one of the most ancient aspects of astrology. Our focus here will not be so much on astrology but more on how these are used in witchcraft.
Planetary hours and days are correspondences, we have many books about this in our metaphysical shop, come visit! Connect with us for more on Instagram, Facebook (Meta) or TikTok.
I want to make this as simple for you as I can, so using them in magic makes the most sense. Basically, plan your spell in advance; you pick the day (or night) with the best energy, and then the best hour or hours. Sometimes a spell casting goes longer than an hour.
Each day is “ruled” by a planet. That planet’s energy is dominant compared to the other planets on that day. Each “hour” is ruled by a planet too, that planet’s energy is dominant for that period.
Planetary hours follow an old astrological system known as the Chaldean order of the planets. First, this sequence begins with Saturn, then continues through Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, and Moon. Afterward, the cycle repeats endlessly in the same order. Each step in the Chaldean order reflects the planet’s orbital speed.

Additionally, from a heliocentric view, this order shows each planet’s distance from the Sun. In this case, the Sun takes Earth’s place, while the Moon shows its distance from Earth.
From a geocentric view, the Chaldean order also reveals the structure of planetary spheres. Therefore, this system serves both astronomical and mystical purposes.
Obviously planetary hours don’t match the 60-minute hours we use in everyday timekeeping. Instead, the day begins at sunrise, not midnight. Each planetary day divides into 24 hours, starting at sunrise and ending at the next day’s sunrise.
So, sunrise to sunset creates 12 daytime hours. Likewise, the span from sunset to the next sunrise forms 12 nighttime hours. Together, they make up 24 planetary hours.
Because daylight and nighttime lengths change, so do planetary hours. Only at the equinoxes are day and night hours equal. Otherwise, the hours of the day and night always differ slightly. A planetary hour could be 18 minutes or well over an hour depending. However, the order never changes.
I will write another article on calculating these, but there are great online calendars for planet’s days and hours. Get Googling. Below, I’ve created a graphic for you showing the Chaldean order of the planets, relative to the planetary hours. The order of the planets in this image starts with the moon though, not Saturn. We just want to naturally start with Monday, don’t we?

Notice while each day may have a different planetary starting point, the order of the planets, horizontally, remains the same. Just remember the length of the hours stretch or shrink and are different every day. This is why planetary calculators come in handy.

Now, let us look at planetary day for Magic:
Each of these planets, the sun and moon all have different energies. Do you mow the lawn on a rainy day? Of course not. Do you choose a sunny day to get a tan? Most likely.
Now that you know the days, you just need planetary hours. Those same energies as described below come and go all through the 24-hour day. Just google planetary hours calculator. You’ll find lots of them. You can learn to calculate the hours, but I think you’ll love the convenience of online tools for this.
Planetary days and hours’ energies are correspondences often used in witchcraft. All these days have correspondences with gods, herbs, crystals and more. I’ll be writing articles about each day in depth. One book I highly recommend is Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Correspondences by Sandra Kyne. And it does include the planets.
My point is these energies are very helpful for different magic tasks. Remember, for powerful spell casting, pick a planetary day, but the plan for the specific hour or range of hours to do the work.
So, now look at these planets’ unique energies and how you might use them to help your magic and spell work.
The moon’s energies are unique, waxing, waning, full moon, dark moon and void phases. Here, however, we are only concerned with weekly rule of Monday, not the phase. In future articles, I will be writing a lot about moon magic. This should be taken into account with planetary days and hours.
MondayLet’s talk about Mondays—the day the Moon rules, which is probably why so many of us feel like lukewarm soup as soon as we wake up. The Moon doesn’t just light up the night sky like a cosmic nightlight; it also stirs up emotions, mood swings, and all those shadowy little thoughts we try to ignore. If you’ve ever felt like crawling back into bed before you’ve even brushed your teeth, blame the Moon’s erratic, often unpredictable energy. She’s not here for your productivity.
Honestly, I’ve always said the world got the calendar wrong. If we lived by the stars, Monday and Sunday would be our official weekend, and Saturday would be the only real workday. Mondays, energetically, are begging us to slow down, stay quiet, and reflect. It’s not called “Monday Blues” because we’re thriving. We should base our work-week on planetary days and hours, right?
So, what should you do on Monday? Not much. Sleep in, be restful as much as you can. Magically speaking, Monday is good for meditation, mulling over plans, journaling and shadow work. Yes. Now’s the time to stare into the abyss of your soul (but like, in a comfy robe). It’s also a good time to craft a spell or ritual for future use.
Oh, and since the Moon is tied to food and bodily rhythms, meal prepping fits the vibe too. It’s nurturing, quiet, and frankly gives you control over something. Mondays are made for taking it slow—embrace the mess and make magic out of it.
TuesdayMy favorite Planetary days and hours are those with some fire. Aries and all, you know? Tuesdays are Mars days, which basically means they’re made for bold moves and cutting through the crap—emotionally, magically, or otherwise. If you’ve got something to banish (a bad habit, a lingering ex, or that stack of laundry mocking you from across the room), Tuesday’s your cosmic green light.
Personally, I love using Tuesdays to say a big, bold nope to people, patterns, or situations that drain my energy. Mars rules sharp edges and severing ties, so it’s the ideal day to set boundaries that stick. Need to finally speak up or walk away? This is your moment.
Magically speaking, Tuesdays are great for uncrossing, protection, and banishing spells. Clean out your house, clear your to-do list, and dump whatever’s not helping you grow. I like to call it “aggressively healing.”
Want to consecrate your tools or prep for serious spell work? Tuesday energy will back you up. It’s also excellent for fire-starting motivation—aka “get off your butt” magic. Light that candle, speak your truth, and take the first damn step.
Also? It’s a killer day for shutting down gossip. Whether you’re working with clove, vesta powder, or the ever-dramatic beef tongue spell (don’t worry, I’ll post it soon), Tuesday brings the fire you need to silence the noise.
Bonus: it’s even good for reversing hexes and reigniting love—because sometimes Mars helps you fight for something instead of just against it.
So yeah, Tuesday is not subtle. But that’s exactly why it works.
WednesdayAh, Wednesday—Mercury’s Day. Which basically means it’s time to overthink, overshare, and maybe finally reply to that email from three weeks ago. Mercury rules the mind, communication, and all things verbal, so don’t be surprised if you suddenly feel like the spokesperson of the universe.
This is the day I treat like an open mic for magic. Talk, write, research, market, manifest—it’s all fair game. Want to pitch a business idea or launch something online? Mercury has got your back. Feeling unusually chatty? Go ahead and send that 3-minute voice note. Your people will survive.
While Tuesday is great for ditching bad habits, Wednesday is ideal for building new ones. Mercury’s energy supports learning, organizing your brain, and creating systems, especially the ones you’ll probably abandon next week. Still, you tried.
Need a little magic? Use Mercury’s vibe for spells related to business, communication, travel, or inspiration. It’s also perfect for interviews, persuasive speeches, or winning someone over without selling your soul.
Honestly, it’s one of my favorite days for everyday magic. You can buy, sell, solve problems, schedule doctor appointments, or finally book that short trip you’ve been avoiding. The energy is fast, flexible, and just unpredictable enough to be interesting—but not as chaotic as Monday’s lunar drama.
One amazing Planetary days and hours match is Wednesday for Mercury during the hour of Mercury. Cast a spell, feel like a genius.
So, if you’re going to do something clever, talky, or marketable—do it on a Wednesday. Mercury approves.
I like to layer spells, in other words, multiple spells toward the same goal. If you look carefully on Thursday and Friday energies. you might discover something quite powerful about layering spells on these days. Do one spell on a Thursday, do the other spell on Friday. They don’t necessarily have to be done back-to-back either. Sometimes I layer spells weeks or even months apart.
ThursdayThursday is also my favorite day for casting spells. I know, ask me what my favorite flavor of ice-cream is or favorite color. Then you’ll understand.
Thursday might just be my favorite day to cast spells—which is saying a lot, considering I also have a favorite moon phase, candle color, and yes, a preferred incense for each emotion. But Thursday? It hits different.
Ruled by Jupiter, the cosmic CEO of growth and expansion, Thursday practically oozes abundance. We’re talking wealth, success, healing, and “why not manifest a mansion” kind of vibes. It’s the day I reach for the big stuff—no small intentions allowed.
If you’re looking to do some luck work or throw a wish into the universe and expect it to land, Thursday’s your jam. Jupiter’s energy makes it a powerhouse for leveling up in life, love, business, or anything else that could benefit from a magical growth spurt.
I especially love working with thresholds on Thursdays—no, not the squeaky door to your kitchen, but the spiritual kind. Think of gods like Janus or Hecate, who guard liminal spaces and unseen paths. Chant with a key in hand and visualize a door swinging open—not to your living room, but to the next version of you.
This isn’t your basic road opener. It’s more like “please launch me into a higher realm of clarity and cosmic fortune.”
Also, if you’re a planner (or pretending to be), this is the day to lay out your grand schemes. Big vision boards. Bold decisions. Outrageous goals. Jupiter’s not here for minimalism, he wants it all, and so do I.
So yeah, Thursday’s a big energy day. Use it accordingly.
FridayFriday is ruled by the planet Venus, who is also a goddess of love. Also, Freya in Odinism and others. So, what magic is good to do on a Friday? Well hell, isn’t that the day you get all gussied up and decked out for a night on the town. Isn’t this when everyone hits the single’s bars? Was that a strong enough hint? I can never tell.
It’s not all bump and grind hoodoo though, there’s lot of magic based around love outside of romance. This is a great day for a honey jar spell to sweeten any relationship. Think of your boss, a friend or a coworker perhaps.
You could also enchant your make up as a glamour spell for self-confidence. Friday is a great day for self-love and self-esteem magic. You can also home in on magic for personal growth. Maybe you have an attitude you want to push past.
Friday is also the perfect day for magic to repair broken love. Bring back a lover, get a relationship a second chance etc. My advice though, never try and force someone to love you, it never ends well. But there’s nothing that says you can’t chant up the opportunity for a great talk.
Again, with layering spells, regard the energies of both of these planets. Think about it, what Saturn is best for, and then what Sunday is best for. You could say it’s like breaking your magical foot off in someone’s arse on Saturday and then going about your parade Sunday. Your head held high enjoying the outcome of a success spell, now that a toxic troglodyte has been dealt with proper.
SaturdayWhat a totally cool planet, dig the rings and colors. It’s probably the most toxic planet too. Saturday is the perfect day for any type of protection and blessing magic.
A black candle and a prayer to Hecate for justice. Do that return to sender spell and send them just desserts of their own making. Uncrossing to remove negative energies is a Saturday activity for sure, so is Tuesday.
This is also a great day to do some house blessings. Refresh the energy, do some light cleaning, get your sage bundle out. Perhaps craft a ward or two to keep the negativity at bay.
SundayRuled by the Sun, what comes to mind for magic on a Sunday? Sunday sets the tone for the week that starts tomorrow. Associated with gold and the Sun, it radiates vitality and success. A lot of different gods correspond with this day including Apollo, Ra, Sol, Brigid, Helios and others.
Sunday, like Wednesday, is a great day to study, especially magical studies. I like to enchant and place a yellow candle atop a mirror to enhance intelligence, retention and recall while I study. Give it a whirl, you’ll find it really helps.
Sunday is perfect for road-opener spells, because it precedes the week. A yellow candle, a sun sigil on some plain brown paper, yellow yarn for a witch’s ladder, some marigold for stuffing is an easy and effective spell petition for success. Did you know horehound increases mental powers? I prefer the old-fashioned candies you find at gas stations to the tea though.
It’s awesome when you think about it; combining the energy of the day, with the energy of an hour, what powerful mixes can you come up with?
I will be doing a “full spread” article on each planetary day, with correspondences and related magic soon. Blessings!

Sæturnesdæg, meaning “Saturn’s Day.” In Romance languages, the name still reflects this origin. For example, we see “Sábado” in Spanish and “Samedi” in French.
Because Saturn governs order and responsibility, Saturday is perfect for protection work, clearing toxic ties, or ending old energetic patterns. Therefore, use this time to complete what you started and prepare for growth.
If you haven’t already, then read my article on planetary days and hours to better align your work with Saturn’s energy. That post gives a strong overview of each day’s influence. Consequently, you can time spells for full impact.
You can find supplies in our online store or visit our local metaphysical shop for help. So don’t stress about materials. This is part six of my seven-day series. Even as an Aries, I value its steady, serious magic. Because Saturday rewards follow-through, it remains one of the best days for spiritual progress.
Follow us for more on Instagram, Facebook (Meta) or TikTok.
Saturday magic spells are best suited for banishing, binding, protection, and endurance. Therefore, use this day for clearing negativity and setting long-term goals.
Since Saturday is ruled by Saturn, God of time and karma, it is a great day for spells that require patience and maturity. So, work on shadow magic, curses (if you swing that way), and protection rituals.
For magic, always check for void-of-course phases of the moon first. Her energy simply is not available to you during those times. Moreover, there are plenty of good online calculators for this, so find one and save it to your favorites.
If you are feeling stuck, Saturday is also perfect for unbinding spells and cutting energetic cords. Saturn loves boundaries, so give yourself space.
Because Friday-night dreams often stir up deep feelings, I always start Saturday with journaling. So I write everything down—yes, even the one where I argued with my childhood math teacher in court. That probably reveals something. Or maybe I still hate fractions.
Therefore, I start writing immediately, before the dreams vanish into mist. As I reach for my pen, I say them aloud. If I don’t remember dreaming, then I write anyway. Instead, I reflect on goals or what needs to be released.
I shape my Saturday magic spells and rituals to some degree based on Friday’s experience. I always check in with my mental and emotional state. Because if I wake up foggy or tense, that mood can linger. Writing helps me shake it off. So even when I sigh, I call it self-care.
Since odd patterns repeat often, I keep a notebook beside my bed for the dramatic and the weird. I skip grammar completely. “Falling into a pit while Saturn laughs”? Definitely going in the book. We’ll unpack that chaos later.
Another solid option is sage tea. It purifies, heals, and supports clarity. Therefore, I sometimes add lemon for brightness or honey for softness.
Magical perks? Honestly, it feels like a full-body reset. So it strengthens, protects, and deepens insight—Saturn absolutely approves of that.
What do I journal about? I ask what needs clearing. Then I reflect on boundaries and what I want to build.
Just a little tip on journaling, it’s not about simply recording. If it’s Saturday and about banishment, making healthy boundaries or ending toxic relationships. use that focus. In context with what you record, how does that play with those goals? Now you’re getting somewhere.

Shuffle your deck. Pull three cards.
What do I need to know? (first card in the middle)
Why do I need to know it? (second card to the left)
What should I do about it? (third card to the right)
Doing tarot daily builds spiritual stamina. Additionally, it creates structure and reflection Saturn would absolutely encourage in your magical practice.
For extra grounding, I place obsidian or onyx near my cards. However, I prefer holding black tourmaline while shuffling. Then I set it beside the spread.
Black tourmaline shields energy, strengthens focus, and clears negativity. Additionally, it anchors you to Earth and strengthens your personal energetic boundaries.
I pair it with smoky quartz for clarity or use amethyst for insight. Therefore, I add hematite when I need strength.
If you feel called, then book a tarot reading with me online or visit for an in-person session anytime.
Saturday Prayers – SaturnMy Saturday magic spells include prayer. You are welcome to pray or invoke any deity you wish. However, Saturday belongs to Saturn, the old Roman god of time, discipline, and karma. He rewards effort and structure.
Since Saturday is about responsibility, wisdom, and closure, light a black or dark purple candle. Consider one or all of these three prayers to Saturn. Three notable pagan gods of this day are Saturn (Roman), Cronos (Greek) and Anubis (Egyptian). You can switch out the name or choose whatever god or goddess you wish.
Chronos is a primordial god, not a Titan. He personifies time and appears as an old, wise figure. While often confused with Cronus, the Titan and father of Zeus, they are distinct. Therefore, always separate their identities when studying mythology.
Remember, structure builds strength. Therefore, start with clarity and end with discipline.
O patient Saturn, keeper of time and law, help me set boundaries that protect my path. Let your steady presence strengthen my will and guide my growth.
O wise Saturn, master of cycles, teach me discipline and resilience. May I act with purpose, speak with care, and grow through challenge.
O firm Saturn, lord of endings and rebirth, help me release what holds me back. Let me walk with courage into what comes next.
Saturday magic spells are best suited for and involve closure, protection, banishment, and stability. So, burn black candles to cut cords or make boundary spells using salt and iron.
Saturday is perfect for spells that last—long-term intentions and anything that needs endurance. Think of Saturn like a magical contract. If you are ready to commit, he will support you.
First, mugwort. Mugwort is a classic for protection, divination, and psychic work. Burn it, brew it, or stuff it into a sachet.
Myrrh is another powerful Saturday herb. It helps with healing and clearing spiritual clutter.
Cypress is grounding and helps with transitions. Add it to spells for endings or fresh starts.
Thyme is protective and uplifting. So, it is great in floor washes or charm bags.
Black tourmaline blocks negativity and keeps you grounded. Therefore, I often use it during shadow work or when cutting energetic cords.
Obsidian reveals hidden truths, sharpens intuition, and protects your space. So I reach for it when I need deep reflection.
Smoky quartz clears low vibrations and heavy emotions. Additionally, it transforms stagnant energy and helps you build lasting resilience.
Hematite boosts focus, courage, and structure. Because of that, I use it to ground thoughts and strengthen my magical discipline.
Saturday is for boundaries and calm. Wear black, gray, or deep indigo. Choose something that makes you feel protected and clear.
Use black or dark purple candles in your rituals. Pick tones that match Saturn’s depth and wisdom.
I promise as I continue to work on this blog I will circle back with a lot of how-to on spells. For Saturday, anchor your energy with a grounding invocation. It is the best day to perform protection spells or tie up magical loose ends.
Try rituals for spiritual shielding, energy cleansing, or ending unhealthy habits. Saturn loves clear endings and solid intentions.
Need to cut ties? Try some Saturday magic spells like writing your limiting belief or situation on black paper. Burn it while speaking your release.
Saturday is for serious magic. Use this energy wisely.
Start with tea and journaling. Brew your grounding tea and write a few thoughts. Record a dream, a goal, or something you need to release. Take just 3 minutes.
Next, read 3 to 5 pages from a spiritual or magical book. Choose something insightful, 5 minutes.
Pull your three-card tarot spread. Reflect briefly, 5 minutes.
Say a short prayer to Saturn or another grounding deity. Light a candle or speak aloud, 2 minutes.
Speak gratitude while brushing your teeth or tying your shoes. Let it be natural.
Choose a grounding spell or clearing practice (below). Set up the night before. Check void-of-course times.
Do the cord cutting spell or write-and-burn ritual. Each takes less than 5 minutes.
Ground your energy by blessing yourself, try some Florida water. Enchant between the hands to refresh the energy and bring power to the hands. Ball up some pure white energy, like a beach ball, above your head and pull it down through your body, halfway down place your hands on that ball of energy and push down through legs and send it into the floor. This is to cleanse aura and remove what doesn’t belong there, Now, dominate hand first, touch / rub your forehead for blessings and luck, switch hand and do the base of your skull, switch hands and rub the inside of your wrist, switch again for the other wrist. Inhale courage, stand up straight, exhale.

The name “Sunday” comes from the Old English Sunnandæg, meaning Sun’s Day, named after the Sun. In Romance languages, Sunday reflects the sun as well—like Domingo in Spanish and Dimanche in French. If you haven’t, read my article on planetary days and hours first. That will give you a foundation on the energies of different days and hours and how they work in magic.
Find everything on our online metaphysical store or in our brick-and-mortar metaphysical shop, so do not stress about supplies. This is the final day in a seven-day spell series, and Sunday is a great day to shine your inner light. I’m an Aries, but I can tell you Sunday is my sparkle-and-spell day. Follow us for more on Instagram, Facebook (Meta) or TikTok.
Magic on Sunday is best suited for healing, manifestation, creativity, and spiritual growth. Therefore, use this day to cast for health, happiness, and radiant energy. Since Sunday is ruled by the Sun, source of light and vitality, it is a powerful day for intention-setting, truth-seeking, and energy work. So, for Sunday magic spells and rituals, try solar magic, personal affirmations, or rituals for self-discovery.
Before casting, always check for void-of-course phases of the moon. Her energy may not align at those times. However, there are plenty of moon phase calculators online. Bookmark your favorite. If you have felt in the dark, Sunday is ideal for clarity spells or uncovering truth. Let the light in.
Since Saturday-night dreams often bring symbolic messages, Sunday journaling is non-negotiable. Write it down, yes, even the one where I turned into a sunflower and gave a TED Talk. That means something… or I need more sleep. Write as soon as you wake up, before it disappears. Therefore, whisper it as you reach for your pen. No dream? Write anyway. Reflect on your light and direction.
I always check in with my inner state. If I wake up glowing or gloomy, I want to understand why. Journaling helps. It is like therapy with a pen. Keep a notebook nearby for divine, weird, or dramatic dreams. Skip grammar. “Talking lion in golden armor”? Logged. We will figure it out later. If you need, check out these leather journals.
Today’s tea is chamomile. Chamomile promotes peace, confidence, and healing. It soothes your spirit while energizing the heart.
Another excellent choice is calendula (marigold) tea. Calendula is bright, healing, and linked to the Sun. It supports health, clarity, and creative power. Add orange or lemon peel for added sunshine.
Magical perks? Radiance, calm strength, joy, and insight. This tea is perfect for spells of success, solar energy, healing, or vision. We have lots of tea and accessories.
The most well-known magical properties of marigold are enhanced psychic power, protection, prophetic dreams and assistance in legal matters. What to journal about? Your light. Your goals. What you want to grow or shine in. Keep it short but honest.
Sunday magic spells and rituals should include a little divination work; Tarot is quick and easy. Shuffle your deck. Pull three cards. What do I need to know? (first card) Why do I need to know it? (second card) What should I do about it? (third card).
A bit of tarot each day strengthens your intuition. Furthermore, it reveals what is ready to emerge from the shadows. For extra clarity, place citrine or sunstone near your cards.
I like to shuffle while holding clear quartz, then lay it by the spread. Sunstone inspires joy and self-worth. It brightens mood and lifts doubt. Citrine brings abundance, success, and radiant energy. Pair it with clear quartz or amber.
Add tiger’s eye for courage and confidence. Book an online video reading or in-person tarot reading with one of us if you need.
Sunday Prayers – The SunYou are welcome to pray or invoke any deity you wish. Sunday magic spells and rituals always include prayer for me. Sunday belongs to solar deities like Apollo, Ra, Helios, or Amaterasu.
Did you know that Hecate was at one time worshiped as a solar goddess? Yep, and there are other female deities with solar associations.
These figures represent light, clarity, and divine vision. Since Sunday is about life-force, creativity, and truth, light a gold or yellow candle.
Consider one or all of these three prayers to the Sun. Remember, illumination begins from within. Therefore, center yourself first.
O radiant Sun, bringer of light and truth, shine within me. Let your warmth dissolve my doubt. Illuminate my mind, uplift my spirit, and reveal my path.
O noble Sun, source of clarity and joy, guide me through shadows. Let me stand in your truth and move forward with purpose. Bless my heart with courage.
O eternal Sun, giver of life, awaken my spirit. Let me rise with your fire and move through this day with grace. May I carry your brilliance.
The best spells to cast on a Sunday involve healing, confidence, clarity, and personal power. Therefore, enchant a mirror with sunlight or speak affirmations while holding citrine. Try blessing your workspace, home, or self with solar energy. It is also a great day to perform manifestation spells with gold candles and sun-charged water.
St. John’s Wort is a classic; therefore, it remains a trusted herb for many practitioners. In addition, it is protective, uplifting, and solar aligned. Consequently, you can use it in charm bags or teas.
Calendula (marigold) promotes joy, healing, protection, psychic power, prophetic dreams, and assistance in legal matters; thus, it’s a versatile and powerful herb. Moreover, you can brew it, burn it, or sprinkle it in baths. For legal matters, place it in a sachet and carry it; similarly, for prophetic dreams, place it under the bed near the head area.
Sunflower brings bold energy; as a result, it’s perfect for confidence work. Furthermore, it boosts both confidence and motivation. Therefore, use petals in art magic or altar decor.
Orange peel energizes and attracts positivity; consequently, it’s great for uplifting spells. Additionally, you can add it to sachets or spell jars.
Sunstone inspires warmth and self-worth; therefore, it’s an ideal crystal for emotional empowerment. Additionally, you can use it in spells for confidence or energy.
Citrine attracts success, joy, and abundance; consequently, it’s a favorite for manifestation work. Moreover, it is bright, potent, and lovely on an altar.
Amber holds ancient solar power; as a result, it carries deep ancestral resonance. Furthermore, it heals, protects, and connects you to ancestral energy.
Tiger’s eye strengthens courage and insight; likewise, it supports clear thinking under pressure. In addition, it keeps you centered while pursuing goals.
Sunday is luminous; therefore, it sets the tone for bold energy. Additionally, wear yellow, orange, gold, or white. Choose something that feels bold, radiant, and magical so that you align with the day’s solar power.
Use yellow or gold candles; similarly, select hues that reflect vitality and divine light. Consequently, your space will radiate warmth and intention.
I promise that as I continue to work on this blog, I will circle back with a lot of how-to on spells; meanwhile, here’s a little something for your Sunday. For example, spark your radiance with a solar invocation. Alternatively, you can write a success spell or make a gratitude charm.
In addition, try rituals for confidence, clarity, or vision. After all, this is your day to rise and glow.
Because Sunday magic spells channel energy and light, you may need a joy boost. Therefore, create a sunlight blessing. Hold water in a clear jar in morning light; next, add lemon peel and charge it with intention. Then use it to anoint yourself or your space.
Sunday is for joy and renewal; thus, it is a perfect day for renewal spells. Write what you are thankful for on yellow paper; afterward, fold it into a sun shape. You can either burn it safely or bury it in sunlight.
However, on those days when you find you have more time on your hands, try some bigger, more refined, thoughtful magic to do. Still, remember, I’m just giving you “quickies” on these dailies to help you have a more magical day.
Start with tea and journaling. Brew your sunny tea and jot a few lines. Write a dream, goal, or affirmation: keep it under 3 minutes.
Next, read 3 to 5 pages from an uplifting or spiritual book. Let it energize you; 5 minutes.
Pull a three-card tarot spread. Focus on joy and truth; 5 minutes.
Say a prayer to a solar deity. Light your candle or speak aloud; 2 minutes.
Say your gratitude out loud while you stretch or make the bed. Let it flow easily: no time lost at all.
Pick a fast joy spell or solar blessing. Prep tools the night before. Do some mirror affirmations or a sunlight charm. Check moon voids. 2 minutes.
Take 2 minutes to breathe in light. Rub hands together. Place over heart. Inhale brilliance. Exhale fear. Finish by blessing yourself. Touch your forehead, then chest. Rub your wrists. Breathe deep and shine. Book a tarot reading with me, live or in person, or with one of the few readers I trust.

Thursday magic spells and rituals can absolutely help you make it a magical Thursday. Therefore, which spells work best on a Thursday? This day, after all, is perfect for focusing on abundance, growth, and wisdom.
If you are ready to attract prosperity or level up your goals, then Thursday is an ideal time to begin. Consequently, use it to expand your reach, strengthen your intentions, and cultivate success.
The name “Thursday” comes from the Old English Þrūnresdæg, since it was named after Thor, the Norse god of thunder, strength, and protection. Interestingly, in Romance languages, Thursday reflects Jupiter’s influence—like Jeudi in French, Jueves in Spanish, and Giovedì in Italian, all meaning “Jupiter’s Day.”
If you haven’t already, then read my article on planetary days and hours first. That will, in fact, give you a foundation on the energies of different days and hours and how they work in magic.
You can find everything you need on our online metaphysical store or in our brick-and-mortar metaphysical shop, so thankfully, you do not need to stress about supplies. This is part four of a seven-day spell series, and clearly, Thursday is a great day to call in the big magic. Thursday is my aim-high-and-hit-the-target day.
Follow us for more on Instagram, Facebook (Meta) or TikTok.
Magic on Thursday is best suited for spells related to abundance, ambition, luck, and long-term success. Therefore, use this day to manifest financial growth, call in opportunities, or do magic involving justice or truth. Additionally, this day encourages expansion and bold thinking.
Since Thursday relates to prosperity and vision, it is a great day to plan ahead. Therefore, try organizing your magical goals or casting spells for financial flow. Furthermore, this is the perfect time to think long-term and aim high.
For magic, always check for void-of-course phases of the moon first. Otherwise, her energy simply is not available to you during those times. Moreover, there are plenty of good online calculators for this, so find one and save it to your favorites.
As a spiritual reminder, hope is more powerful than fear. So use Thursday to reframe your thinking and set expansive goals. Because Jupiter is all about optimism, lean into his uplifting influence.
Since Wednesday-night dreams often roll into expansive storylines, I’ve made Thursday journaling a non-negotiable. So write it all down, even the part about riding a rainbow llama through Wall Street. That probably means something symbolic, or perhaps I should lay off the late-night documentaries.
Start writing immediately, because those thoughts will vanish quickly. Therefore, say them out loud while reaching for your pen. If you did not dream, then write anyway. Write about what you are working toward, because the act itself has value.
I always check in with how I’m feeling, because if my dream felt like an epic myth, that energy might carry into the day. Writing it out helps me channel it, so the vibe doesn’t control me instead. It is still self-care, even when my handwriting looks like a prophecy from an ancient scroll.
I keep a notebook by the bed, ready for anything grand, weird, or oddly financial. Additionally, I do not worry about grammar. “Dancing with gold coins under a storm cloud”? Yup. Noted. We will sort it out later, because dreams don’t edit themselves.
Journaling and tea? Absolutely. So brew up some cinnamon tea for luck, energy, and warmth. Additionally, cinnamon is great for attracting prosperity and boosting spell power. It also makes your whole house smell inviting, which is always a plus.
Another wonderful Thursday tea is rooibos. Because rooibos tea has a rich, earthy flavor, it promotes vitality and balance. Moreover, it helps with grounding big ideas, which fits Jupiter’s vibe perfectly. For added flavor, try including vanilla or orange peel.
Magical perks? Oh, just the usual: abundance, success, courage, and amplified magic. Therefore, use it if you are working on money spells or expanding a magical business.
What to journal about? Try exploring where you want to grow, because that clarity creates results. So write about goals, dreams, or something you want to expand. Date it as well, so you can reflect later. Keep it short to stay consistent.
Shuffle your deck. Pull three cards.
What do I need to know? (first card) Why do I need to know it? (second card) What should I do about it? (third card)
A little tarot each day will improve your skills over time. Furthermore, it will help you begin your day with a hopeful and motivated focus.
For Thursday’s extra lift, keep tiger’s eye or citrine near your cards. However, I recommend holding amethyst while you shuffle. Then place it near your spread.
Amethyst is known for spiritual wisdom and clarity. It’s said to help align higher purpose with real-world goals. Moreover, it brings peace and focus to big plans. Basically, it is like having a cosmic life coach in gem form.
Try carrying it with jade or green aventurine in a charm bag. Add quartz if you want to amplify those energies.
Book an online video reading or in-person tarot reading with one of us if you need.
Thursday Prayers – JupiterYou are welcome to pray or invoke any deity you wish. However, remember Thursday is Jupiter’s day, and it is also Thor-day and Zeus’ day. Because both the planet and the gods share energy, their influence aligns beautifully. Luckily, I have Jupiter in my chart, so Thursday is “my” big-picture day.
Since Thursday’s energy is more about justice, blessings, and growth, light a royal blue candle and consider one or all of these three prayers to Jupiter. Therefore, choose the one that resonates with your intentions most deeply.
Keep in mind, true expansion begins with gratitude. So always start from a thankful heart to fully align with Jupiter’s power.
O mighty Jupiter, god of the sky and wisdom, open the doors I cannot see. Let your lightning strike falsehood and clear the path to truth. Bless my words with honesty, my hands with purpose, and my plans with success. May your greatness echo in all I do.
O generous Jupiter, ruler of abundance and law, guide my steps today. Let your justice walk beside me and your fortune light my way. Help me grow with grace and move forward with confidence. May your blessing fall on my work and my spirit.
O bold Jupiter, bringer of luck and expansion, fill me with your boundless energy. Let me reach for the stars with both hands. May my faith be steady, my heart be brave, and my will unshakable. Walk with me as I grow.
The best spells to cast on a Thursday involve prosperity, influence, truth, and spiritual growth. Therefore, cast a spell to bring luck to a financial endeavor or bless a contract before signing. Jupiter loves integrity and bold intent.
Try casting a spell to help secure funding, bless a new project, or expand your influence. This is the day to act like the future is already yours.
First, nutmeg is a classic prosperity herb. Nutmeg attracts money, luck, and success. I add it to charm bags or sprinkle it around candles.
Bay leaves are great for wishes and success spells. Write your goal on one, burn it, and send the smoke skyward.
Clove offers protection and manifestation. Use it in incense or grind it into spell powders for attracting wealth.
Dandelion is often overlooked, but it brings powerful luck and connection to spirit guides. Therefore, brew it into tea or dry it for charm work.
Citrine is a powerhouse for wealth and confidence. It also promotes clarity and joyful effort. Therefore, place it where you work or plan.
Amethyst helps align you to your highest path. It supports wisdom and spiritual clarity, which makes it perfect for long-term magic.
Green aventurine is the lucky charm of crystals. It is known to attract opportunity and growth.
Tiger’s eye helps balance ambition with practicality. It keeps your energy focused and clear.
Jade brings success and good fortune, especially in business or leadership roles. Therefore, carry it to support authority and fairness.
Check out our metaphysical jewelry or crystals.
Thursday is a colorful day in a regal kind of way. It is about the shimmer of gold and the depth of royal blue. But wear something purple or royal blue. These colors speak to expansion and nobility.
When you craft chants or spells, use a blue or purple candle today. Pick colors that reflect Jupiter’s majestic tone.
I promise as I continue to work on this blog I will circle back with a lot of how-to on spells. For Thursday, empower yourself with an expansion invocation. It is a perfect day to cast for long-term blessings and abundance.
Try spells for career advancement, public recognition, or attracting opportunities. This is the day to set your sights high and cast big.
Thursday Spells to Grow Your Goals
Want to grow your goals like a magical beanstalk? Try a goal-growth jar spell. Use green string, a blue candle, and a handwritten petition focused on growth and gain. Add basil, cinnamon, and orange peel.
Seal the jar and bless it on a mirror. Place it near your desk or altar. Whisper your goals to it every day.
Thursday is for Luck and Leadership
Perfect day for stepping into your power. Write your leadership intention on parchment and place it under pyrite. Light a blue candle and speak your goal aloud. Let the energy grow with you.
Begin with tea and journaling. Brew your favorite Jupiter tea and write a few quick thoughts. Capture a dream, an intention, a fear, or a big wish. Just jot a few lines; 3 minutes max.
Next, read 3 to 5 pages from a magical book. Keep it short and uplifting: 3 to 5 minutes tops.
Pull a three-card tarot spread. Keep it focused; 5 minutes max.
Say a short prayer to a chosen deity. Light a candle or speak aloud. Just 2 minutes to connect.
Express gratitude. Say it while brushing your teeth or tying your shoes. Easy and effective.
Pick either a cleansing ritual or use a Florida Water refresh. Choose one of today’s spells and gather supplies the night before. Check for void-of-course times.
Try a fast abundance spell or growth jar ritual. Each takes under 5 minutes.
Take 2 minutes to clear your field. Try Florida water, moon water, or some other blessed water. Rub hands together, place them over your chest, raise them up, and draw light into your body.
Finish with a blessing. Touch your forehead, base of skull then rub your wrists. Inhale deeply and exhale confidence.
Book a tarot reading with me live or in person, or with one of the few readers I trust.

Tuesday magic spells and rituals to help you make it a great Tuesday. Which spells work best on a Tuesday? This day is perfect for focusing on inner strength and bravery.
If you’re ready to kick a bad habit or make bold changes in your life, Tuesday is an ideal time to begin. Use it to release what no longer serves you and step into healthier, more empowered routines.
The name “Tuesday” comes from the Old English tiwesdæg, named after the god Tiw (or Tyr in Norse mythology), a deity of war and justice. Tiw is the Germanic equivalent of the Greek god Ares and Roman god Mars. That’s why in many Romance languages, Tuesday reflects this connection—like Mardi in French, Martes in Spanish, and Martedì in Italian, all meaning “Mars’ Day.”
If you haven’t, read my article on planetary days and hours first. That will give you a foundation on the energies of different days and hours and how they work in magic.
Find everything on our online metaphysical store or in our brick-and-mortar metaphysical shop, so don’t stress about supplies. This is part two of a seven-day spell series, and Tuesday is a great day to kick some magical butt. Being an Aries, I can tell you Tuesday is my kick-but getter-done day.
Follow us for more on Instagram, Facebook (Meta) or TikTok.
Magic on Tuesday is best suited for breaking bad habits and forming new ones. Tuesday is great for finally tackling those things we’ve been dreading doing. This day is all about strength and passion.
Since Tuesday relates to physical movement, it’s a great day for exercise. Take that short morning power walk. Or do some of the heavy-lifting in the garden early morning.
For magic, don’t forget to always check for void-of-course phases of the moon. Her energy simply is not available to you at that time. There are plenty of good online calculators for this, so find one and save it to your favorites.
Psychology 101 – anger is more useful than despair. So, this is a great day to get mad instead of getting down. But use the energy of anger wisely. Harness it and let it help motivate you to bust a move and make some change.
Since Monday-night dreams love to spill into Tuesday like some cosmic soap opera, I’ve made journaling a must. Non-negotiable. I write it all down—yes, even the part about running from this flatulent lady. That probably means something deep and symbolic… or I need to stop snacking before bed.
Start writing immediately, because it will disappear like smoke or water vapor. It helps to say it out loud while you reach for your journal and pen. If you did not dream, write anyway! Write about how you feel.
I also check in with how I’m feeling, because let’s be honest—if my dream felt like a haunted movie trailer, that vibe can cling to me all day. Writing it out helps me shake it off. It’s self-care, just with ink stains.
I keep a notebook by the bed, ready for anything bizarre, colorful, or just plain unsettling. I don’t bother with full sentences. “Lost in a crowd of people with no eyes or ears”? Yup. Noted. I saw it. Let’s unpack that weirdness later.
Journaling and tea. Sip some Pu Erh tea today for a strong, clean energy boost. It sharpens focus, fights inflammation, and helps detox your system. You may not find this at your local store, but you can order it online. Another lovely tea to boost Tuesday magic spells is Oolong, Oolong tea and I have this “thing.” I drink it for the antioxidants—because apparently my cells need saving.
It’s also supposed to help with weight, blood sugar, teeth, and even my heart. So basically, it’s trying to be a health hero in a teacup. Fine by me. If you want it to taste good, brighten with lemon, sweeten with honey. Green tea, white tea, black tea and oolong (all teas that are considered as “true teas”) are all from the same plant species: Camellia sinensis. Though, you’ll find oolong has the lightest flavor.
Magical perks? Oh, just the usual—peace, energy, and clarity. It’s also great if you’re into seeing the unseen (hello, divination) or casting spells for love, protection, and healing. No big deal, right?
What to journal about? How about last night’s dreams, or what you hope to accomplish today. You don’t need to write a page or two, just a few sentences. Date it too, so you can look back. Keep it simple.

A little tarot every day will help improve your skills over time. Not to mention, help you get the right start to your day with a positive focus. For Tuesday’s draw, “where is my energy now”” – middle card, Next “where was my energy?” – left card. Next, “where should I put my energy?” – right card.
For Tuesday extra “oomph”, you can always have amethyst or labradorite near your cards, but try rubbing your hands with bloodstone before you draw. Set the bloodstone between you and where you place your spread.
Bloodstone has some amazing magical properties. Also called Heliotrope if you’re feeling fancy, bloodstone is one of those crystals that seems to do it all. It’s said to boost courage, energy, and general badassery, while also fending off negative vibes and psychic weirdness. Supposedly, it helps you stay grounded, get creative, and feel more in tune with nature. Basically, it’s like nature’s multi-tool—with a dramatic name.
Pop some in a cage or carry with you in a sachet with quartz and carnelian for some real energy for Tuesday magic spells, boost and power.
Book an online video reading or in-person tarot reading with one of us if you need.
Tuesday Prayers – AresYou are welcome to pray or invoke any deity you wish. Remember Tuesday is Mars’ day, it is Ares’ day. Both the planet and the Greek and Roman gods. Lucky me, I am an Aries, so Tuesday is “my day” during the week. Since Tuesday’s energy is more of kick-butt get-it-done flavor, light a red candle and consider one or all of these three prayers to Ares.
Prayer empowers Tuesday magic spells, or any day’s spells for that matter.
Keep in mind, the best battles won are the ones that never needed fighting. Sometimes a show of strength is all that’s needed. Like the knights in Tarot, their mere presence is imposing enough to settle things at times.
Tuesday magic spells involve passion and strength, or the need for passion or strength. Cast a spell for motivation, get that to-do list out and cast a spell with it. Summon courage to go have that confrontation you have been dreading, make that healthy boundary. I would cast such spells for best outcomes, ending on friendly terms.
Tuesday is a great day for spells where initiative and success are needed. Think about casting a spell then asking for a raise, or a promotion. Cast a spell for success and go sign up for that team! Bring those ideas up at work or in your social club.
These herbs are great for Tuesday magic spells. First, ginger is one of my go-to herbs and great for raising power. I often use it in combination with other herbs like dragon’s blood (another Tuesday must) to dress spell candles. Dragon’s blood helps things manifest, great for banishment and brings potency to any spell work. Black pepper, absolutely love black pepper for banishment, exorcism too- getting rid of negative and nasty energies. Getting that Mars vibe yet?
Thistles of various kinds, I love Blessed Thistle also called Lady’s Thistle. It grows everywhere around here, and perfect for warding one’s house or property against evil and bull-shizzle. Here’s a witchy tip for you; harvest the dried spiky thistle later in the year, place them like a bouquet in a black vase by your front door. Evil will not come knocking.
There’s also holly for protection, anti-lightning (good to keep around the home, dried inside, grow it outside), luck and dream magic. Cacti of all kinds offer protective energies and coneflowers (I grow those too) shield from negative energies.
Bloodstone, I love it, especially for divination work but it does have quite the fire. Bloodstone rocks for self-esteem and inner strength. Carnelian is like raw power which can be used for just about anything including healing. It’s also motivation and creativity. Garnet comes to mind on Tuesdays too. Garnet’s magical properties include passion, protection and grounding. It’s believed to enhance vitality, courage, and commitment while also providing psychic protection and grounding spiritual energy. How about that?
Choosing the right crystals will help empower Tuesday magic spells. I keep premade sachets of crystals for each day of the week to work with.
Ruby is another favorite, especially on Tuesday. Ruby’s magical properties include protection, enhancing courage, promoting love and passion, and boosting vitality and energy. They are also associated with spiritual wisdom, intuition, and a connection to the root chakra.
Try working with some coral too. Coral is known for its ties to strength, safety, and healing. It’s said to boost courage, calm feelings, and bring peace. Red coral is linked to passion and drive, while white coral stands for purity and spiritual safety.
Lastly, I can’t leave out pink tourmaline. Pink tourmaline is linked to love, healing, and calm. It’s said to open the heart, ease stress, and bring peace. Many believe it helps with self-love, kindness, and emotional healing. On that not, did you know Ares was also about love, not just war. He also is a god of agriculture.
Tuesday is indeed a colorful day, I notice I hear a lot of colorful language. I see more colorful people who behave colorful for some reason. But wear some red. Red is all about passion, movement and momentum, creativity and motivation.. Tuesday magic spells and energies are empowered by wearing some red.
When making your chants choose a red candle today. Choose a red candle for anything that shines to Tuesday’s energies.
I promise as I continue to work on this blog I will circle back with a lot of how-to on spells. For Tuesday, imbue yourself with a fire invocation. It’s a great day to meditate on what you need to release before starting your day.
Tuesday is a perfect day for spells to stop gossip and vicious rumors. There’s the old cloves and vesta powder all the way up to a beef tongue spell. I will share some of those soon. It’s great day to bind a bully or break their power. Return to sender spells are a beautiful thing on Tuesdays.
Sweeten up the love life with a honey jar of a different kind, add some spice and fire to it, herbs for lust and passion. Get a small jar, make a spell petition with a red witch’s ladder, a red spell candle with your names carved on it. Fill a little jar with honey and olive oil, make your spell petition, write it out on a small length of all natural plain brown paper. Enchant hibiscus, rose and damiana according to their properties, roll that up in your spell petition and tie it off with the witch’s ladder. Light your candle and cover the petition in the red wax, place in the jar and seal it. Finish burning the candle on a mirror. Place the jar in the bedroom. Have fun.
Perfect day for breaking bad habits. Hard boil an egg, get a black marker. Write how much you hate that bad habit on your egg, over and over until it is black. Take it to a crossroad, say it aloud one more time and add “I am done with you!”, smash the egg, turn and walk away immediately and don’t look back.
Start with tea and journaling. Make some tea and write—just a bit. Jot down anything from a dream, something you recently learned, something you’re hoping for, ready to let go of, or wanting to welcome in. No pressure to write a lot—just note the day, date, and a few thoughts. Keep it under 3 minutes.
Next, read 3 to 5 pages from a magical book. Quick and simple—spend no more than 3 to 5 minutes.
Pull a three-card tarot spread. Keep this short—5 minutes max.
Say a short prayer to your chosen deity. A simple, focused 2-minute moment.
Speak your gratitude. I do this daily while getting dressed or brushing my hair. Just say it out loud—takes no extra time!
Pick either the cleansing practice above or the Florida Water version below. Then choose one of the spells listed. Be sure to gather your items the night before and check for void-of-course times.
Use a white candle and cast the quick love boost spell above. Shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes.
Or do the fast road-opener spell from earlier. Again—5 minutes max.
Take 2 minutes to refresh your energy. Hold Florida Water at your chest, then rub your hands clockwise to charge them. Raise your hands above your head, imagine holding a large glowing ball of white light. Guide it down through your body and into the floor. Let it push out any bad or heavy energy.
Now bless yourself for luck. Start with your forehead using your dominant hand. Switch hands for the base of your neck. Then rub each wrist, switching hands each time. Stand tall, inhale deeply, and breathe out. You’re blessed.
Book a tarot reading with me—live or in person—or with one of the few readers I trust.

Witchcraft correspondences are used by many magical traditions and practitioners. Think of spellwork like baking a cake—you want success, right? You want to see happy, enchanted faces when your results are served up. But would you add bell peppers to your cake? How about tuna? Of course not. They don’t fit the recipe. They don’t correspond.
In magical terms, this is what correspondences are all about—matching energies that work together toward your goal. If you’re performing a love spell, you want ingredients that align with love. For example, rose and hibiscus match that energy. The color red does too. These are traditional love correspondences.
So, you could say witchcraft correspondences are just energies that complement one another. When we work sympathetic magic, we create something from symbolic parts that already resonate with our intention. But correspondences go deeper than that.
The concept suggests that every item in existence holds its own energy and unique frequency. These energies naturally harmonize with others. When paired well, they enhance each other’s strength. Furthermore, every object connects with symbols, planetary forces, and other spiritual meanings.
Celestial bodies play a role too. The sun, moon, and even seasonal shifts carry energetic signatures. These elements also influence which correspondences we use. When we choose them intentionally, we maximize our magical outcomes.
So, whenever you work magic, decide on your witchcraft correspondences beforehand. This planning matters. The more aligned your components are, the more effective your spell becomes. Proper preparation equals better results.
Correspondences involve more than materials—they include symbolism. Symbols carry tremendous power in magic. That’s why correspondences combine objects, colors, seasons, and energies to make your intent manifest clearly. Start thinking of correspondences as energies.
This is why it’s so important to gather what you need before casting a spell. Research takes time. Some ingredients are hard to find. And sometimes, timing is everything. If a particular full moon is coming soon, you don’t want to miss the window.
We have thousands of items in our metaphysical shop, come visit! Follow us for more on Instagram, Facebook (Meta) or TikTok. We sometimes post specials, deals and events.
How do you know which correspondences to pick? It always begins with the spell’s purpose. Focus on the desired result. Then select items that reflect and enhance that intention. You want them to work together, not clash.
Where do you even start? Books and websites are full of correspondence lists. However, not all sources are accurate. Be cautious, especially online. There’s a ton of magical nonsense out there—pages filled with exaggerated claims. Ironically, yes, this is an online article. But at least here, you’re told to verify your sources.
Also, trust your intuition. Don’t rely solely on lists. Learn the properties, yes. But when your gut tells you to grab a certain herb or stone, listen. Sometimes, the energy just feels right. Magic flows better when you blend research with instinct.
The Complete Book of Correspondences by Llewellyn is one of the best on the subject.
Let’s explore some types of correspondences now, and I made some recommendations.
Crystals appear in almost every Pagan or metaphysical tradition. Why? Because every stone represents aspects of the human condition. People have associated magical and healing traits with stones for centuries. Each crystal resonates with specific energies.
However, not every stone works the same for every person. That’s why it’s important to experiment. Write down your results in your Book of Shadows. This way, you can track which combinations bring the best outcome.
Rose quartz is a classic for emotional healing and self-love. I wear it often, especially when I need emotional strength. Crystals also become talismans when worn daily. They radiate energy as you go about your day.
Check out Self-Love Crystals by Katie Huang if you’re exploring this area.
Personally, I wear nuumite for physical health protection. It’s deeply grounding and protective. Perfect for physical spells. In contrast, amethyst supports emotional clarity and psychic work. It pairs beautifully with rose quartz for emotional balance. And then there’s labradorite—don’t get me started. That one is like a magic storm trapped in stone.
Herbs are incredibly versatile. The witchcraft correspondences of herbs are some of my favorites. Why? Because they’re both practical and effective.

White sage, also known as sagebrush.
Let’s start with sage. Most witches have it. White sage, also known as sagebrush, corresponds with purification and banishment. It has feminine, Earth-aligned energy. People use it to drive out negativity and emotional baggage. However, rosemary works similarly—and it’s far more accessible.
We sell white sage in our store and online, sage smudge sticks are popular. And no, we are not out there raking it off the hills in front of Native Americans. We grow it and also procure it from sustainable farms.
It happens all the time, but people confuse white sage with red sage. These two very different species have very different correspondences (magical properties).

Garden sage, also known as culinary sage.
In our coven garden, we grow garden sage, or culinary sage. Native communities often call it Sawge. Its proper name is Salvia officinalis. Unlike white sage, garden sage corresponds with wishes, immortality and long life. It also resonates with wisdom and protection.
I like having both versions available. Their magical properties serve different purposes.
Lavender? Everyone knows it promotes peace. But it’s also protective and purifying. Keep dried lavender near doors or windows to repel negative energy.
It aligns with Mercury, the element of Air, masculine energy, and even love. It promotes restful sleep, which is often overlooked in magical practice.
Get The Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs by Scott Cunningham. It’s the gold standard for herbal magic. It offers lore, spell uses, and thorough correspondence details.
Colors are energetic symbols. Each one has magical influence. Witchcraft correspondences often revolve around them.
Red represents passion, desire, war, and courage. Use red when you need bold action or passionate outcomes. Purple, however, is tied to psychic energy, insight, royalty, and wisdom.
Some colors overlap. Purple and blue both help with justice work and spiritual clarity. They also assist with dream-related spells or psychic shielding.
Yellow improves memory and learning. I light a yellow candle on a mirror when studying. It helps me retain information. Yellow also relates to social energy and the sacral chakra. Interestingly, it connects with anxiety too. A little may calm you. Too much may trigger stress.
Color energy is personal. Traditions help, but you’ll build your own meanings. Study candle magic for deeper insight. That’s where color truly shines.
Be cautious online. I’ve seen websites list 150 meanings for one color. That’s overkill. Either it’s for SEO or it’s magical fluff. Use your common sense.
Numerology plays a big part in Paganism and witchcraft. Numbers hold energy. They aren’t just symbols; they influence magical results. Certain numbers amplify energy, while others promote balance or healing. You can combine them in specific ways to support your goals.
These numbers often correspond to planets. That’s where cosmic alignment enters the mix. Think of planetary days—Monday for the moon, Tuesday for Mars, and so on. Each day strengthens particular spellwork. Planetary hours also matter. Timing affects results.
There are great books and websites for tracking these cycles. Lunar calendars help you align your spells with moon phases. Each full moon of the year has its own unique correspondence. Don’t overlook this when planning long-term rituals.
Animals play a big role, too. In many Pagan paths, animals represent spiritual truths. Symbolic animals carry their own meanings. Think of the owl for wisdom or the raven for transformation. These animals show up in dreams or rituals for a reason. They reflect magical energies trying to reach you.
People have worked with animal symbolism for centuries. Totem animals, familiars, or spirit guides—whatever name you use—each one brings insight and power to your practice.
Let’s talk elements. Earth, Air, Fire, and Water—these are core to witchcraft correspondences. Many systems also recognize a fifth: Spirit. Sometimes called Self or Will, it represents direction and inner force.
Each element corresponds with a direction and a magical domain. I go over this more in my altar article, but here’s a quick summary.
Earth governs abundance, fertility, prosperity, and grounding. It’s tied to wealth, harvests, and security. Air rules intellect, ideas, logic, and communication. It governs libraries, courtrooms, mountain peaks, and the mental plane.
Fire stands for passion, transformation, courage, and inspiration. It’s bold and chaotic but also a catalyst. Water reflects emotions, relationships, healing, and dreams. It connects to the psychic world and the fluidity of human feelings.
Spirit holds them all together. It’s the binding force and the will to act.
When building your spell, choose elements that support your goal. Elemental balance enhances outcomes. Lean too heavily in one direction and your results may wobble.
Conclusion
All things have correspondences. Calendars, metals, trees, insects, gods and goddesses, even people. Hopefully, this article got you thinking more deeply about how you work your magic. With better planning and stronger understanding of witchcraft correspondences, you’ll craft more focused, powerful spells.
Take the time. Do the research. Trust your intuition. Then get out there and enchant your world.
Blessed Be.
