I dont buy into this whole planetary days and hours thing for witchcraft. I mean, come on, how can the alignment of planets really affect our spells and rituals? Sounds a bit too out there for me.

In reply to Cassie. Hello Cassie, and what a wonderful question, and thank you! The answer is yes, because sometimes a witch has got to do what a witch as got to do. You must "adapt" the spell. Say it's waning moon and a lonely practitioner want to gain friends, waning moon may not seem like the best time because that lunar phase is best for reductions and banishing. So, what if the witch adapted the spell to instead make the loneliness go away? :) See, sometimes you just have to really put your thinking cap on. ;) Blessings.

For those that follow a different path like myself, its good to see that a few things are consistent. Corresponding days never change. But timing is still important. And I just wanted to take a moment to show appreciation for this blog. You’ve obviously put a lot of time and effort into sharing knowledge with the world.
Now to my question. I see that although the days are ruled by one planet but the other planets rule the hours. Excluding void of moon, would it be possible to do specific spellwork on different days than recommended if the hour corresponds? Asking for those on fixed schedules yet still want to get things done.

Hello dear Mary 🙂 Yes, there IS a lot to consider. Sometimes a witch has got to do what a witch has to do in the moment. But for that delicious, undeniable outcome – there’s nothing like proper planning and spell preparation. The better the correspondences (and yes, timing of planetary hours and days are correspondences too) the more successful the spell. 🙂 Blessings!

If I’m following along correctly, in order for a spell to have the most potency, theres ALOT to take into consideration. You need to have the corresponding ingredients, day, planet, hour(s), also check for void of course. Im sure I’m missing other elements to consider.
Spellwork is much more involved than I ever realized. Its all very fascinating. Its also very intimidating. I truly appreciate the information. Although it will take me a long time to fully digest, you have made learning everything easier to understand. I plan on copying this information into one of books to further retain everything.

This is quite an informative blog today!! I have found how much stronger my magick has become since I have utilized planetary days and hours. The illumination of the days of the week and how each are good for different workings will continue to help my practice. Thank you for your teachings.
