Dandelion Metaphysical Properties

Dandelion metaphysical properties: a staple in my practice due to its association with masculine energy, Jupiter, and Hecate. I incorporate dandelion into spells and rituals aimed at boosting male potency. Additionally, we honor Hecate by leaving dandelion offerings at crossroads or burning it to enhance psychic abilities and invite spirits.

The metaphysical properties of dandelion mean I always keep some on hand. I don’t view it as a weed, given its value for pollinators and its usefulness in spiritual work. Known also as Lion’s Tooth or Wild Endive, dandelion is part of the sunflower family. It has been used for centuries both as a food source and a medicinal herb, making it invaluable in our practices. Our coven utilizes dandelion for spirit summoning, enhancing psychic impressions, dream work, and attracting abundance and financial opportunities. It’s also effective for healing, purification, and manifesting desires. With its leafy texture and mild aroma, I store it in a container in a cool, dry space.

Using Dandelion

To harness dandelion’s metaphysical properties, I keep dried herb in an offering bowl on my altar. This ensures I have it ready to burn as an offering during rituals. Occasionally, I stuff a poppet with dandelion to amplify psychic power or summon certain spirits.
