So, we have an individual generating one star google reviews over the use of AI and witchcraft. Perfect, and we are so glad they showed their rear-end with that review because it gives us the perfect opportunity to share our side, so thank you! We thanked them and posted a reply for the whole world to see. 🙂
So, Let’s Talk About AI and Witchcraft, Shall We?
Hello darlings. I’m already bracing for some hysterical comments, but let’s try to keep it intelligent and respectful for everyone, hmm? Discussing witchcraft alongside AI should be fun.
I’m calling this review out and posting it everywhere online, lol. LinkedIn, Blogger, Reddit, Tumblr, Meta. Discussions about witchcraft and AI are quite amusing, aren’t they?
We should probably thank them for the publicity opportunity! 🙂
Apparently, some folks think if an image looks too polished, the article the image accompanies must’ve been written by AI. Sweetheart, no. I write every single word myself. My witchcraft, my voice, my lessons. What I’ve learned, what’s in my blood. That’s not something a program could ever copy. An image and written content are two entirely different things.
Disgruntled Competitor
That’s also why I only get about two posts a week done because they take me a long minute to write them. So, for giving us a one-star Google review, they’re either paranoid, or a disgruntled competitor put them up to it, lol. But it’s backfiring on her, as usual and we just smile.
We do have a competitor that has consistently shown her _ss, at first telling people we’re evil, spreading disease, always suggesting our goods are unethical somehow because our prices are low. This woman is so stupid, she doesn’t realize that every time she badmouths us, she loses customers and sends them to us.
People don’t like her negativity; they come check us out for themselves and don’t return to her store. Sure, she gets one or two drinking her “Kool-Aid” but we get dozens of people every year telling us about her activity. Her name on their lips, so, it’s not a one-time thing. Not very spiritual for a metaphysical shop owner, is it?
She is just too dumb to realize badmouthing others doesn’t build her up; it makes her look pathetic. And trying to talk others into doing her dirty work? Well, may they share in her karma. Toxic attracts toxic.
Tacky Tactics?
And over what? Ego? Money? Good grief. When people visit our store and mention her badmouthing, we reply, “we know” and just take the high road. We actually spend our time giving positive shouts out to other metaphysical businesses in the area. There’s enough to go around, and we want everyone to succeed.
She is fond of sending “spies” into our store to check prices, and while we don’t mind her tactics, we suspect her constant attempts at disparaging us are simply desperation. The hot-button topic of witchcraft and the occasional use of AI is just another excuse for her.
One time I stood behind her car in our parking lot and watched her videoing my other half putting a cig out on the garbage can outside our store. One week later, I saw the video, apparently, she thought it was me digging for DNA to do some “dark work” on someone, LOL – what an idiot. But the lawyer did say we could nail her for stalking. Lot of drama, that one.
Anyone that knows us at all, would know exactly who I mean. Just petty and desperate. And she calls herself a “High Priestess” – of what? The temple of self?
AI and Witchcraft – We Get the Concern
We DO actually get people feeling concerned about AI though, we really do. I just don’t see the need to throw shade or act nasty every time someone spots a generated image. My articles are 100% me, same as my tarot posts and my own creation of the P.E.N.S.I. Method for learning tarot through association rather than memorization. Yes, that’s mine. Copyright and all. Even with concerns around witchcraft and AI, my creations remain authentic.
AI could not have drawn upon it, because it’s 100% my own creation and have only just begun to publish it and what I’ve taught in classes at the store. There’s a distinct line between witchcraft and AI creations.
How We Do Use AI
I use AI for images, because let’s be honest – there are only so many “witchy woman in fog holding a candle” photos on Shutterstock. You want a Beltane post? There are maybe six usable pictures before you start seeing the same woman with different filters. AI image tools help me make visuals that actually match what I’m writing. Then I still must download, crop, add text, and brand them. That’s called work, by the way.
And yes, I schedule posts. I’m not sitting here babysitting social media all day, are you? My time is worth more than that. Boy, do I screw up that schedule sometime. I have a scheduling tool, but that’s not AI – I use it, but that’s not witchcraft.
Meanwhile, I don’t even use a smartphone – I know, shocking. I could take more of my own photos, but those things are a pain, and I like my peace. Call me a late bloomer, but I just discovered there are more than a dozen emojis.
Anyone who’s sat through any of my classes at the shop can read my posts and know it’s what I teach in person, not just write about. Not written by AI. Grow up already. You don’t actually read, do you – you just point and start squawking. Witchcraft and AI are separate realms, after all.
And for those still clutching their pearls, AI draws from human-made material. It’s not a demon cloud stealing souls; it’s remixing public art. I just don’t use it to write because that wouldn’t be me – and I’m not judging anyone who does.
If you run a business, post across multiple platforms, and keep your content fresh, of course you’ll use tools to make it easier. Scheduling, SEO, image creation – why wouldn’t you?

AI and Witchcraft – It’s a Useful Tool
I know plenty of witches and metaphysical business owners who use AI for all sorts of support tasks while still writing authentic content. Some even use it just for spell-check and grammar. Personally, I write in Microsoft Word because it has great review tools, blending my knowledge of witchcraft with AI-assisted conveniences when suitable.
Everything I write goes into our site blog as part of a growing Book of Shadows that I’m building free for all seekers. That’s part of my legacy.
What we don’t have patience for are the folks who don’t read but love to complain that “AI ruins everything.” If you skim, assume, and judge without understanding—well, you’re basically announcing that you skipped the homework. You sound like the town crier for the uninformed. Block, ban, delete—blessed be.
Parting Thoughts
I’ll keep writing the real stuff like always. You can keep scrolling and yelling at clouds if that’s your hobby. And you probably think this was AI too!
For everyone else, keep witchin’, keep chillin’, and just be yourselves. Never mind the tiny pot-stirrers. I don’t need to turn them into toads, they’re already trolls. 😉 Blessed Be.

My wife and I, mostly my wife, shop your store, you guys are always so friendly and helpful. We’ve been to that “other store” and know exactly who you’re talking about. You’re right, she badmouths EVERYONE, and it is just such a shame. As far as AI goes, seems like you’re using it well as a tool for business, but I’ve read several of your posts, def you Greg … keep it up bro.
Keiron! LONG time no see! Thanks for your comment and support, really appreciate it guy. Hope Angel and young Breanna are doing well! I am working from home like 90% for now (website/marketing) for a while … but soon to be spending more time in the shop again. Thanks, Blessings! 🙂
I was gonna say all that – beat me to it. I love Coexist, the people and the store. awesome!
I love that you pointed out badmouthing and claiming to be spiritual or a high priestess just dont mesh. New Orleans is really bad about shops/owners badmouthing each other.
IKR???!!!! Been to new orleans, correct – its terrible. I love coexist store too, wonderful people and very knowledgeable, helpful.
Thank you! I appreciate your kind words, we all do. 🙂 Blessed Be.
Thank you, River, I appreciate you. It just doesn’t seem right, does it. Blessings!
It’s become a bit of a daily ritual lately—tracking down fake reviews that our little stalker keeps posting and setting the record straight. I can’t tell if this person is just bored, bitter, or maybe a local competitor with too much free time, but honestly, it’s getting old.
If you truly have a real concern, here’s an idea: come talk to us face-to-face. We’re here every day, Thursdays – Sundays and we’re happy to have a genuine conversation. Hiding behind fake profiles and spreading lies doesn’t help anyone. Grown-ups communicate; trolls fabricate. I’m choosing to stay focused on the good customers, friends, and supporters who know who we are and what we stand for.
